The wedding industry on Vancouver Island is full of passionate, talented vendors who want to make weddings more accessible, meaningful, and sustainable for their clients. For our community to be a place where people can celebrate joy and love for generations to come, we need to do business in a mindful, responsible, and ethical way (while still having lots of fun).
Joining The Kinder Weddings Community is a way to connect with other vendors, access training and resources, and communicate your values to your clients. Together, we’re making the industry awesome!
Membership is open to Vancouver Island-based wedding vendors or vendors in surrounding areas, including the Gulf Islands. You can be a solopreneur who works in the wedding industry on the weekends, or you can be a large company with lots of employees who work on hundreds of weddings a season. What unites us is our commitment to making the wedding industry a better place!

How to Join:
Send your annual membership fee
Take some time to set four goals for the year based on the pledge (we'll send a form to help make it easy)
You’re in! You can share your Kinder Weddings digital badge with clients to let them know you’re helping make the wedding industry better for people and the planet!
Membership
Industry Leader - $500 (for companies who can sponsor other vendors)
Large Company - $250 (for companies with several staff members)
Regular Member - $150 (individual members)
Discounted Rate - $75 (vendors who need additional support, including new vendors, members of traditionally marginalized or vulnerable communities, or anyone else who can't afford the full rate right now)
