Why Sustainably Wed?
Weddings are beautiful, but the wedding industry creates a significant environmental footprint. We recognize that the natural environment is a key part of what makes people want to come to Vancouver Island to celebrate, and we’re working to protect that environment so that people can gather in this place for generations to come.
Here at Sustainably Wed, we provide a database of wedding vendors who have taken a sustainability pledge and are working to reduce the footprint of their business and events. We also provide a library of resources for couples and vendors to help them make sustainable choices when planning an event. Finally, we offer one-on-one support for couples who are planning an event and want some advice and support to make eco-friendly choices.
